wottt Taskmanager disabled???
my GODDD !!! wot should I do now...? blohuhaaahahaha... :(
Well not a big probs. This is one of the most common probs that are caused by virus infection.
Actually this is a windows utility to disable or enable taskmanager to certain group of users.
But viruses use this thing to mess with us....hehe...
here's the solution:
There are 3 ways you can make it enable:
1]change registry settings.
2]use GPEDIT.MSC
3] download awsome tool for these problems.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER then go to software >> microsoft >> windows >> CurrentVersion >>Policies >> System.
Now on the right side plane double-click on " DisableTaskMgr " and change the value to " 0 "
now the taskmanager is enabled....hurray..?
OR
copy this in notepad
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System] "DisableTaskMgr"=dword:00000000
go to file >> save as >> anything.reg >> OK
now double-click on this this file and merge it.
you can set it ti enabled to again get the "taskmanager disabled message"
This is one of the most cooler tool in case of common virus infection.
This tool is made by sergiwa.
You can goto it's home page at http://www.sergiwa.com.
Download the tool HERE
In some case viruses run a parallel process to kill the taskmanager process.
in these cases you have to identify these viral process and then perform a killing action.
like removing their start up enteries , identifying the infection file and deleting it,etc, etc.
you should discuss about these viruses in antivirus forums.
