regedit disabled??? enable it ...

*******************************************************************

hmmm... so got your regedit disabled... no probs...just follow some simple steps...
There are three ways to enable it , same as i explained it in taskmanager part....

1]use regisrty modification.
2]use gpedit.msc
3]use RRT (recommended)
  • Use registry modification..
As we see registry editor itself is disabled , so we can't use regedit directly by typing REGEDIT in run

so Either use 3rd party registry browser ( like tune-up utilities , registry explorer)...then goto

HKEY_CURRENT_USER >> Software >> Microsoft >> Windows >> CurrentVersion >> Policies >> System>> on right side double click on "DisableRegistryTools" >> change value to " 0 "

  • use GPEDIT.MSC (group policy editor)
go to start >> run >> type GPEDIT.MSC >> user configuration >> admin templates >> system folder >> prevent access to registry >> double click and make it " disabled "

  • use RRT (restriction removal tool)
NOTE: Your antivirus can cause problems for RRT , so switch it off...!!!

RRT made by sergiwa ( www.sergiwa.com) can remove restrictions on regedit and many more problems caused by viruses. Its an awesome tool ... and you must have it.....

download it HERE

well as i said in Taskmanager article... parallel running viral process can kill regedit process and can stop you from accessing it. For these assistance... you should have a small tool called " hijackthis " just scan and upload the logfile to www.hijackthis.de

well happy infection removal :D ........byeeeeee hehe......
